4th of July-hotel help

I%26#39;m hoping someone there can help me please...

Are there any fireworks on the 4th of July in Omaha? If so are there any hotels or motels close to where they set them off so we might be able to see them from the hotel?

Please let me know, it%26#39;s our anniversary during that week and I really wanted something special but don%26#39;t know anything about Omaha really. Thank you in advance for any and all replies.

Omaha actually has one of the best in the country... Get a hotel near Rosenblat stadium, that%26#39;s where they have it every year.

Thank you, I also read yesterday that there is a fireworks display at Boys Town...have you ever seen that one?

The fireworks at Rosenblatt are on July 3 this year and there is a large display normally on the 4 done by Harrah%26#39;s Casino on the river. There is another also on the 4 in West Omaha not sure of the exact location though I believe around 144 and Fort.

The Harrah%26#39;s in Council Bluffs Iowa mught be just the ticket for that.

I am not sure the Boys Town display is anything special.

I would suggest staying down town by the river to see both the Harrah%26#39;s and the Rosenblatt stadium show. The Embassy Suites in the old market may be just the ticket. Have a nice romantic dinner in the old market (across the street from the embassy) and then watch the fireworks out on the grassy knoll overlooking the pond of the ConAgra campus. Have fun....

We always go park at the bowling alley on 13th street to watch the Rosenblat fireworks..

My wife works at ConAgra so we go park on the top level of the parking garage to watch the Harrahs one.

Never seen.. or even heard of the one at Boystown.

The comfort inn at the zoo on 13th street in omaha ne sits directly accross the street from the baseball stadium that holds the college world series. on the 4th of july all of omaha comes to this spot to see a very big display of fireworks. many reserve rooms at this hotel just for this occasion. the hotel has 2 very big open fields which holds a huge tailgate party where all gather to watch the fireworks. in the comfort inn parking lot you will sit directly beneath the display. very safe and fun.

I believe the fireworks in West O are from EAgle Run Golg Course. The display is phenomenal. Last year the fireworks went for at least 20 minutes. People park their cars and sit in chairs in the empty parking lots that run alon Maple Street between 132nd and 144th Sts.
