Friday April 21st Attractions

Hi, me and a friend are going to be in the Omaha area on Friday April 21%26#39;st. We were wondering what fun things there are to do for a couple of younger folks, age 21 and 20. My friend isn%26#39;t old enough to do any nightlife activities, and were getting in at around 5pm so were not able to go to the henry doorly zoo either. We were just wondering if anyone has some input on fun activities that a younger crowd might like?? Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

I am not sure exactly what your interests are, but I would definitely suggest walking around the Old Market and choosing somewhere around there to have dinner. A good casual place to eat is The Upstream (www.upstreambrewing.com). A little nicer with great inexpensive meals are Vivace%26#39;s (www.vivaceomaha.com) and M%26#39;s Pub (www.mspubomaha.com). Check out the cool shops and boutiques in the Old Market. If you enjoy music shows there is a great venue called Sokol Underground with an 18+ show that night. It is The Nadas with The Josh Davis Band. You can check them out at www.onepercentproductions.com. It is a cool, intimate venue with some great shows, if that is what you are into.

Another option is InPlay (www.inplayomaha.com) just north of the Old Market. Games, rock climbing and all sorts of things open until 2AM for those over 18. Hope this helps or if you are looking for something else I could find some other things to recommend.

I know some of the clubs used to open up after hours for dancing 18 and over and no alcohol is served. I don%26#39;t know if they still do this or not though. I agree with walking around the market though. It is a lot of fun and itis supposed to be nice this weekend. It is a great place to just sit also and people watch.

You may be a little to old but there is the Henry Doorly zoo. The second best zoo in the US. There%26#39;s also many places to go around it. But the College World Series might get in the way of that.
