We are traveling through these cities on our way to Cheyenne, WY from Mt. Rushmore. Is Carhenge worth seeing? Any other quick stops or restaurants you could suggest? Is Helen%26#39;s still open in Chadron? Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Carhenge is a must stop, but it won%26#39;t take you long. We always enjoy the Ash Hollow Historic Site near Lewellen but that may take you a bit out of way, www.visitnebraska.org .

Scottsbluff National Monument and Toad Stool Park are terrific places IMO.

At the junction of highway 20 and 29,west of Ft. Robinson,in Ne you will find the small town of Harrison. Here is located Sioux Sundries where you can get huge hamburgers and an old time gift shop. One hamburger could feed a whole family. It is a place where it is fun to say you stopped. They brag about their huge burgers.
