I was wondering about how many hours(estimated)does it take to see thee zoo?

Thanks Kim

Depends partly on if you have young children like toddlers or not.

It is easy to spend six hours and if pushing a stroller up and down the hills that maybe about the limit.

The desert dome and creatures of the night along with the indoor rainforest and gorilla complex are popular with kids.

For maps and lots of info.

Have a great time.

Be sure to see the aquarium at the zoo also!!

You also mentioned the drive through zoo, which I believe is the Safari between Omaha and Lincoln on I-80. Just so you know, it is not part of the Omaha zoo. I went through there a few years ago, and they had many types of animals and birds. If you have to choose betwen the two, I%26#39;d definitely go with the Omaha Zoo. (Henry Doorly). It%26#39;s World class.

An earlier writer also mentioned the zoo area - It is right next to Rosenblatt stadium, the home of the College World Series. It%26#39;s a fine area, mainly residential, so there are very few options for hotels and restaurants in the immediate area(a Comfort Inn (?) and Zesto%26#39;s) Queen). The zoo has great interstate access, though, so anywhere you stay will be a only a short drive.
