Does anybody have any insider info on getting a block of rooms for June 22 and 23, 2007. I know it is the last weekend of the CWS. Our baseball team is in town for a tourney and I need to find a block of approximately 15 rooms.

Looks like you%26#39;re going to be in town for the second weekend of the CWS, so you%26#39;ve got better odds of getting some rooms. Typically as the teams start losing, the teams and their fans start leaving town, so as the week goes on, more and more hotel rooms open up.
I%26#39;d suggest trying to find some guarenteed arrangements, then maybe during that week (wednesday or thursday) start calling around and see if you can%26#39;t get a better deal elsewhere.
The big CWS weekend is the opening weekend, by the time the championship game weekend arrives, people are little burned out. Also depends on who makes the championship game. If Texas would, their fans would travel up here for the game and take some hotel rooms out, but if it were Stanford or someone without a big fan following, you%26#39;ve got even better chances to score some rooms.
