SO Bored!

We live several miles from Omaha (in Iowa).

We are so bored during Midwest winters. I wanted to see if you have any ideas of fun things to do. We have two teenage sons, 17 and 14 years old, and would like to do something different.

We like Kobe%26#39;s and will probably do that one evening. Is there anything else that will make us laugh and have a good time to break up this cold winter??

Are there any fun weekend classes at ITT or anywhere like that??

TIA

Gina

SO Bored!

In past we did hockey game with sons. I want to catch the indoor football games but haven%26#39;t yet.

The guys enjoyed Kobe. Also Famous Dave’s, the family meals which they serve on garbage can lid…must be a male thing!

Durham Western Museum has a lot of train stuff and has some interesting exhibits. Last year we hit the Colt (gun) exhibit, several years ago they had Star Trek memorabilia.

We always have to swing by SAC museum in Gretna. Lots of planes but they have different exhibits.

SO Bored!

Problem with living in the midwest during winter is finding something to do that (a) you won%26#39;t freeze doing it or (b) won%26#39;t break your budget.

The zoo has somethings open for display including the IMAX theater.

Mahoney State Park is right next to the SAC Museum and has iceskating and sledding as well as nature trails and you could have lunch or dinner in the lodge overlooking the river valley.

The Amazing Pizza Machine has many games and indoor go karts plus the obvious pizza.
