can anyone recommends council bluff hotels ?

thinking of staying at council bluff hotels next

month, which area is safe ?

can anyone recommends council bluff hotels ?

I would suggest hotels near the Casino%26#39;s and not ';in town'; or by the mall. There is a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Ameristar, Harrahs and a Country Inn %26amp; Suites near the Horseshoe Casino. Why Council Bluffs may I ask? Just across the river to the West are some great hotels in Omaha including the 4 star Hilton Omaha on 10th %26amp; Cass.

priceline try to get more money out of me for chosing

omaha hotels.

In the end of September I%26#39;ll be staying at Spring Hill Suites on Plaza View Drive in Council Bluffs. Any recommendations for a nice evening meal not too far away? This is only an overnight stay. Will be driving all day before and after so rather not drive to get to a restaurant late in the evening. No fast food, sushi and steak places, please.

Thank you

No fast food or steak in CB? Hmmm...

Fried walleye at the Riverfront Grille?

Drive just across the bridge to the Old Market -- it%26#39;s really just a few minutes, then you can park and stroll -- pot roast at Upstream Brewing? Persian at Ahmad%26#39;s? Duck l%26#39;orange at the French Cafe? Italian at Vincenzo%26#39;s? You could do worse than any of those .... followed by homemade ice cream at Ted %26amp; Wally%26#39;s. Anything there sound like what you had in mind?

Spring Hill suites in the Bluffs - you will have quite a few options within a mile or so - Its near Bass Pro shops ( Islamadora Fish Restaurant ), Famous Daves Ribs, Quaker Steak and Lube ( burgers and wings) , Horseshoe Casino is a block away with a Buffet and High end steak house, Hooters will be open by then nearby, Ruby Tuesday right nearby. Within about a mile is the Ameristar Casino with a good Sports Bar with food, High end Waterfront Grill with varied food selections and also a Buffet and a cafe.

If you go farther east on I-80 a few miles at the 192 exit you will find many more selections including a Cracker Barrel, La Mesa Mexican, and many others.
