Don%26#39;t miss the Botanical Gardens, Zoo (one of the best in the country), and Joslyn art museum. Also, there are great restaurants downtown!

Are you looking for outdoor activities ? You mentioned national parks - there are State Parks nearby. What type of activities are you thinking of maybe that will give us some other ideas.

As you have seen from a map, Omaha and surrounding Nebraska are not an area with an obvious natural attraction like mountains for skiing or the ocean.
