My wife and I attend grad school at UNL in Lincoln. We%26#39;re approaching our 1 yr anniversary this sunday, and I was looking for something/someplace special in omaha to celbrate. Lincoln is rather limited with romantic restaurants and activities, any suggestions in omaha (good restauraunts, parks to take a walk, other activities that may be happening on a sunday)?

Congrats on the anniversary. Couple places I%26#39;d recommend. V Mertz in the old market passageway. Good service and atmosphere, plus you%26#39;re down in the old market if you want to walk around at all.
My wife and I also had a good time at Mahogany%26#39;s Prime ( a high end steakhouse - expect to pay $100 - $150)
Not seeing much as far as entertainment on Sunday at like the Orpheum or Holland.
Doesn%26#39;t look like the dundee has an old romantic movie playing either.

We like Billy%26#39;s in Lincoln for a special occasion.
Chek out the new SULLIVANS that just opened in the Old Market.
V Mertz is a good choice ( although I think I read that they just turned over almost the entire cooking staff so not sure about that ) but if you go to the Old Market on a Sunday go early as everything pretty much closes up at 5PM. A Saturday evening would probably be nicer. You could walk over to the Heartland of America Park and catch a boat ride around the fountain, have a horse drawn carriage ride around the Old Market and maybe catch an artsy play at the Blue Barn theater or some live music.
