I%26#39;m going to be in town for the Missouri game this October. How bad is the traffic from the Best Western Crown Inn on 27th street? I also have reservation at the extended stay downtown but Suburban Extended Stay in Downtown. Does anybody know anything about the Extended Stay? Is it in a nice part of town? Should I go there and avoid the traffic on game day from the Best Western?

Yes, the traffic will be terrible on 27th St. You can do it, but be prepared for very slow traffic. One thing to remember is that it can also be difficult to find a parking space for the game. Most of the parking garages have reserved parking.

One obtion is the shuttle bus.

The Big Red Express Shuttle leaves from Slumberland/Toys R Us---27th %26amp; Superior (actual address 5240 N. 27th, which is north of Superior St. 7 blocks, and located on the east side of 27th). Your best choices for hotels within walking distance of the pick-up spot are:

West side of Superior Country Inn and suites Inn 402 476-5353

East side of Superior Staybridge Suites 402 438-7829

East side of Superior

Best Western Crown Inn 402 438-4700

You said you are may be staying here. You could walk straight south for the shuttle (about a quarter of a mile) to the pick-up spot. There is a charge for both ways, but they drop you off right near the stadium.

West side of Superior Americinn Lodge %26amp; Suites 402 435-1600

For a map of Lincoln Hotels you can log on to the web site www.lincoln.org and go to the Meeting Planners Section, pull up Maps and you can choose Detailed Lincoln Map, that will show you where all the hotels are located.

Please don%26#39;t stay at the Suburban Extended Stay. This is located in a high crime/drug area of town.
